If you live in the western world, most likely you take water for granted. If you want to take a shower, water your garden or just drink some water, you can. You just turn on the faucet and out comes clean, sparkling, drinkable water.
That is nowhere near the case in other parts of the world. In those areas it is a constant struggle to get clean water. If you can get it, it may be challenging to figure out how best to use it. You might have to choose between drinking it and watering your garden to grow food.
However, there is an organization called Charity: Water that is changing the norm for people in need of water. They work to build wells in places of need. When you hear Helen’s story, your heart will melt.
