“All family and employees at Maroi Conservancy preserve the beauty of the country; work and live towards sustainability and actively shape the future for the next generations by supporting the education of the children of our nation.”
These are the words of the Maroi Conservancy in South Africa. The conservancy acts as a game park as well as a farm. Both are sources of income, but the owners work in conjunction with a group called Smiling Children. They send supplies and money to help out poor and starving orphans in India.
If you visit, you will have a chance to observe and photograph animals in their natural habitat, birds in the wild, nature in any stage or season on choose to embark on something more daring. It is up to you to decide whether you believe hunting is morally acceptable, but the Maroi Conservancy says it is legal to hunt in South Africa and will lead you on a hunting safari in accordance with governmental protocols.
